So here we go as we enter a new era, Ryan Lowes home debut and to be honest I can’t wait it’s the first time in a long time I’ve felt so much anticipation towards a Latics game.
Hopefully the two week break will have worked in our favour and given Lowey the chance to get to know the squad, get his ideas across, get them playing some attacking football and get the fans bouncing.
Lowey will have the players up for it don’t worry about that the three points are paramount, Latics win for me and a decent turnout from the long suffering fans.
Fuck the EFL
Struggled to forgive Barnsley for a while after 2020 but like everything you move on and in my case forgive.
My feelings changed towards them massively when I saw them blast into a cocky Bolton side with their feet up
in a superb play off semi 2nd leg and they almost turned the tie around with an incredible display.
I have never forgotten that game , one of the best second halves of football
I have ever seen.
Hope he gets something on Saturday but Tuesday is the one for me.It’s all about Lowe scrapping over the line with an inherited squad, a squad I’m sure at least 10 will be gone.
If Lowe can turn us around with the current squad he’s a genius. I’m glad the club decided to act before the season was over, at least it gives him a chance to assess what he needs to do in the summer.
His biggest challenge is goals
