Not the point. No matter how he has played in the past – and I certainly admit to having been critical of that – when he is playing well give him credit and not play out a pre-recorded prejudice. That’s the issue. these guys are just dishing out abuse because his name is announced. Give him (and others) a break.
I remember the stick Paul Rogers took at Springfield Park, he used to get boo’d when his name was given out before the game.

He did limp away from it though wincing !! :blink: Like I have said on another thread, the fact that he was dropped from the 1st team starting line up has done him no harm whatsoever, in fact it probably grounded him !
