Apparently we have 10,000 unsold tickets that we’ve given back. Of which 6,000 are being sold to neutrals allegedly. Which means another 6,000 Londoners can come in.
The media, of course, will have a field day with this. But I can’t help thinking that if the match was an earlier kick off (like City’s) then more Wigan fans would come down. More transport options, less violence and more certainty of being able to get home after the match = more fans. Logic. The FA don’t seem to realise that as they’re just money grabbing from their massive TV coffers.
Either way, makes a good day for their tw*tty journos, little Wigan taking no fans again!
