i usually stay positive, but even i am now beginning to accept defeat & think that the premier dream is over. obviously, i hope i’m wrong.
personally, minus n’zogbia & rodders we might have a decent(ish) championship team next year

Looking at the table if we dont win on Saturday then I hate to say it but it will be highly unlikely we can turn this around ! Dark side or not but its a reality ! I wont say anymore than that !

Gordon Bennett! Talk about getting carried away by the media tossing off when they change their minds on a weekly basis as to who wins the league or goes down, at Xmas!
There’s 13 games left, ample time to get some good points. If there’s 5 games to go it would be more realistic to forecast.
I think the “we’re doomed” scenario depends on how you answer this question.
Do I support Wigan Athletic, the football club, or do I support Wigan Athletic, the Premier League football club. If it’s the latter, then yes we are doomed and you’ll no doubt walk away like many others. If it’s the former, then we aren’t doomed, we’ll simply be playing at a lower level.
