I know promotion was & still is our number one priority this season. But out of interest, is anyone getting a tad excited about this sunday & the magic of the FA cup. Or is it just me?
16 March 2018 at 2:53 pm #167436Whilst there is still some way to go in securing that automatic promotion spot the win on Wednesday has taken all the pressure off us for the game on Sunday.
16 March 2018 at 3:04 pm #167439Massively excited, but I won’t be as gutted if we lost as I would be if we didn’t get promoted.
It’s been a great ride and the win over City was awesome, but the fact is we need to be promoted.
16 March 2018 at 3:25 pm #167443Now the Bradford game is over I am.
Been singing Que Sera Sera the last 2 days.
16 March 2018 at 9:30 pm #167455It’s a strange feeling. Usually I’m either totally for a win or not bothered about the result, depending on the opposition.
I don’t think I am the only person who wondered why i put money on us to beat Man City, and if we were 4 down at half time that’d respectable!! I was going for the ‘fun’.
Since we beat Citeh and Bradford, I’m kinda really excited about Sunday, and hoping for a good win, but knowing that promotion is so important as well. I guess I’m feeling – a win will be great, bring it on, but if we lose, which we wont, it’s been a great journey again. Isn’t the old cliche win win win. So in conclusion I dunno, anything will be good, and somethings will be better than others.

Slightly gutted that Powell won’t be playing though we’ve delivered many results without him. Vaughan and grigg opportunity though think after Wednesday win we are in a more comfortable position for the weekend to go and enjoy this game without pressure. Can’t wait tbh and can’t come soon enough. Up the tics

Yes realised now. Oh well still strong squad they have a few injuries though so bring it on.
17 March 2018 at 12:15 am #167460Can’t wait Runcorn and as someone else said that win at Bradford was a welcomed win that gives us a bit of breathing space. We can enjoy this one and hope we stop yet another prem club scoring at our place :pinch:
17 March 2018 at 12:38 am #167465Really excited about this one if we can win on Sunday, you can expect every neutral in the country to be willing us on in the semis. It will be a great opportunity to promote the club Sharpie.
Only bummer I’m working Sat and Sun nights so no ale for me, suppose I’ll have to make up for it when we reach semis.
