We bring in a new manager who plays fast flowing attacking football. Doesn’t have to be 4 4 2 but please lets see a strike partnership with one striker playing right down the middle of the park with attacking full backs, wingers or a winger overlapping with full backs, players in position and a regular first team. Nothing over technical but the type of football that fans of Burnley and Leicester got used to last season and the type of football we were used to prior to Martinez.
Even cut the squad size down in January and bring our own loan players back. Holt has been a winner and goal scorer wherever he has played and it is possible it was only the type of system he has had to play in/or not play in at Latics that gave him problems. Even Figs can go. Get our own players playing in that position.
Come on Latics we can still turn this season round and be entertaining too.Although yes we are in a bad position, the beauty of this league is win a few games & your right back at the good end of the table.
