Its a good result, credit to them. I personally in my own opinion still think Bobby is way out of his depth and not the manager to keep wigan up.
Not a hater, just a realist.
29 August 2010 at 10:51 am #44569Still way from being out of the trees. Mighty, I agree. However, yesterday was a massively encouraging sign.
Hopefully we all get behind the team against Sunderland and keep the momentum going.

i am also a realist and think bob will come good for us given the time, there is obviously trouble in camp with the frog(sorry cant bring myself to say his name) and bramble gone now,bob kept us up last season with 2 games togo, were 3 games into the season, wet spam conceded 9 scored 1(penalty)no points, stoke no points we have been in far worst positions than this.Harry redknapp said something at the end of MOTD something like “its ok cheering when where winning but booing when were loseing you need to get behind the team then aswell

29 August 2010 at 6:36 pm #44601listened to the game yesterday on wish (yes you can get it in runcorn) & watched the game on football first. what i liked about the game was that there was passion, commitment & a seemingly willingness to want to play for the club, which i felt has been missing for some time. now beginning to wonder if a certain french international was to blame all along (as has been posted elsewhere).

whilst on the subject of how his tactics were spot on -i think rodelegga looked a different player when he had the free role he had after boselli went off yesterday -and that is food for future thought.

Well done LMB must have been hard to type the first three lines
29 August 2010 at 11:57 pm #44646Excellent performance yesterday, full of the 2 things we should demand as a minimum from our team, commitment and organisation. Defensively we were spot on, midfield closed men down and put pressure on Spurs, while we broke forward and attacked when the opportunity arose.
Special mention to Al-Habsi, seemed to bring a steadying influence in goal, coming out for crosses and making a couple of superb saves when called upon.
