A well earned 3 points.
3 at the back today.Thought Kiernan was OK apart from their goal.
Collison looked OK as well.
Some nice passes from Jordi too today, you can see his confidence level rising.
Pity QPR and Reading both won but with our away form I fancy us to get a result on Tuesday night.
Onwards and upwards !!!
23 March 2014 at 12:58 am #128890Yes I agree well earned three points weather was shyte there following was shite and the bovril at half time was shite
23 March 2014 at 2:14 am #128895On the balance of play and chances missed we could have won by a greater margin really.
Almunia in their goal made some great saves and it was as inevitable as a wet bank holiday when they snatched the against the run of play goa
A good three points and one that puts us in a good position to go on and reach the play offs -the uwe machine continues to march on!23 March 2014 at 2:29 am #128896We are showing under Uwe we have what it takes to get out of this league. They don’t call it the hardest league in the world to get out of (upwards) for nothing….
We conceded a soft goal against the run of play. Not to panic though, we knew we would hit back….
Last winning run was 8…this winning run I’ll settle for 7 ;)
23 March 2014 at 3:51 pm #128907The seventh game would be the semifinal at Wembley – and Arsenal can’t handle the big games any more!
Manchester City 6 Arsenal 3
Liverpool 5 Arsenal 1
Arsenal 0 Bayern Munich 2
Chelsea 6 Arsenal 0Some familiar scores there!
23 March 2014 at 3:59 pm #128908Some nice passes from Jordi too today, you can see his confidence level rising.Thought Jordi was absolutely immense yesterday. Not only is he picking out the defence splitting passes but he is now getting stuck in AND he must have covered every single blade.
It still didn’t stop a couple of morons near us giving him grief late on though. It’s interesting to note that since Uwe arrived Jordi has probably played more than anyone – maybe Uwe can see something that our brains trust can’t.
Can’t wait for him to be picked for the PFA team of the year.

He has a mean choice in post-match photo ops, too ;)
23 March 2014 at 5:12 pm #128916One of these guys has bad taste in shirts.
And the other is Jordi Gomez !!! :)
23 March 2014 at 5:17 pm #128917Er, griff.
Couldn’t you just have stood next to him for the photo opportunity – why was it necessary for you to have your arm round him?
23 March 2014 at 5:20 pm #128918He asked me to. He’s only human!
23 March 2014 at 5:27 pm #128920You need to get some ointment for that head growing out of the back of your shoulder, I bet it’s really hard work carrying that thing around, is it Standish walker? :P

Fek me if the person taking the photo said to you both, “look at the camera and smile” it must be 10 feet wide at least. :woohoo:From Matlock to ManU
