is it just me thinking that they only put in the spade work at home when there playing the big boys?(apart from man u). its the only prem game that night and certain players agents are whispering in to there ears you put in a good one tonight and you just never know??????? it winds me up so fu….cking much!

etc etc if we had a Rooney ,Drogba ,Torres thas rightWigmon, I wasn’t saying that the current system is the right one to play, I was saying that on Monday we did not play a 4-4-2 formation at any point, and that if your argument is that we need to retain possession ‘up top’ more, then 4-5-1/ 4-3-3 is the best system to do that.
Never mind Drogba, Rooney and Torres, a good strong centre forward is all that is needed for this formation. A Heskey return would have been ideal.
Incidentally, quoting a striker partnership from the last ten years might have been more convincing! (Defoe and Crouch, Heskey and Owen, Drogba and Anelka)
