How do you know we play on the Saturday ??
11 March 2013 at 12:47 pm #104977Do we reckon trains will be put on for the match or are the scheduled trains all that will be available ?
11 March 2013 at 3:04 pm #104985Do we reckon trains will be put on for the match or are the scheduled trains all that will be available ?I tweeted Virgin trains. They replied saying that they dont typically put on extra trains and only would do if the club / any travel companies personally chartered them.

I think Standish_Walker may have a bit more info on this, but only once the day that we are playing is confirmed, until then what is the point in discussing anything.
I reckon a lot depends on Chelsea this Thursday, so we may not hear anything til Friday…..Saying that though, I would be amazed if we were the Sunday kick off.
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that

More info is to follow regarding trains – probably on Thursday after we find out whether it’s Saturday or Sunday. What I would say (again) is don’t rush out and book just yet.
13 March 2013 at 4:51 pm #105128If Blackburn do win then it could be an interesting train journey to Wembley
13 March 2013 at 6:04 pm #105131Another, more leisurely, way to get to Wembley is to catch a train from Wigan to Birmingham New Street, return from £42 – two singles are often cheaper.
Take the short walk to Moor Street and catch a very comfortable Chiltern Railways train to Wembley Stadium, the station closest to the ground. The offpeak fare from Birmingham Moor Street to London Marylebone is £27.50.
You save the fare from Euston to Wembley, £11 or £5.40 with an Oyster card.
