      Third round day tomorrow and that should be an exciting day.
      Just remembering some of our great FA Cup days out and third round days used to be really special.
      Southampton, Chelsea, West Ham, will revive some memories for some. Man City in 1971 with replay tickets printed. Remember the picture. Was it 33,333 tickets printed ready for the replay at Springfield. What a night that would have been.
      What is happening with the FA Cup? League games were still important then so why is the cup de-valued so much these days?

        Let’s hope tomorrow is the turning point; a good win could be the springboard to better league form.

        On the other hand, a defeat and well…. :ohmy:

          Let’s hope a few fans turn up but I suspect New Springfield will resemble what it will look like next season if we are relegated.

            Money. Far more in the Premier League and European comps nowadays.

            Good old modern football.
