Let’s hope there’s a bumper crowd tomorrow. League games are a tad dear on the day but tomorrow after a great gesture for fans is an absolute bargain so come on everyone, we’re at home, it’s cheap so those who can please demonstrate your loyalty tomorrow.
8000 loyal season ticket holders and another couple of thousand pay on the day fans cos it’s cheap will have a great day. Could and should be the best crowd this season.
Tongue firmly in cheek but it shouldn’t be really. 2-0 Tics.4 November 2017 at 2:41 am #163028Be surprised if there’s much more than 6 on.

4 November 2017 at 7:04 am #163031Around three thousand at best. Just can not understand it whatsoever. What is worst is how pissed off some fans are who can not make the game due to circumstances they can’t do anything about. Tuesday will be worse than tomorrow too.
4 November 2017 at 12:28 pm #163033Well i for one cant go as im working.
4 November 2017 at 1:07 pm #163034Working Saturday’s is shit. Working Saturday’s when we’re at home is unbearable.
Unfortunately for many there isn’t much choice if that’s your job.
I wonder if the other 4/5000 are working today?4 November 2017 at 1:31 pm #163035Working Saturday’s is shit. Working Saturday’s when we’re at home is unbearable.

I wonder if the other 4/5000 are working today?Surly on match day there are more important things to discuss than crowds! We moan when opposing fans have a go at our crowds. I’ll start the ball rolling, I wonder if Grigg will play some part today.

Cook has said, and I believe him, that he will field a strong team – this is different to the Carabao and Checkatrade, not least because successfully getting through to the Third Round can mean a big payday at a PL club, like last year.
I think Grigg will be on the bench, and depending how things are going will get some gametime just to bed him back in.4 November 2017 at 3:01 pm #163038It won’t be changed to the extent of the carabao or checkatrade games (mainly coz we have one of them in midweek) but they’ll be a good few changes.
Anyone carrying a slight knock will be rested, any first teamer who’s been playing bit parts (e.g. Colclough) will start & I think Grigg will start4 November 2017 at 3:05 pm #163039I know promotion is paramount, but the Club seem to have realised the importance of the FA Cup now that finances are stretched like they are.
When we were in the PL it wasn’t taken too seriously apart from the latter rounds of the 2013 season when we realised there was a chance we could go all the way.
Last seasons trip to Old Trafford yielded the club about £1M so it has to be taken seriously, and I’m sure it will.4 November 2017 at 4:01 pm #163040Best side possible I hope. Keep momentum going and get back to winning ways. Grigg essential if fit.
4 November 2017 at 9:25 pm #163041Crowd? It was more like a mingle.
Wiganers, as a whole, dont deserve to have a club in the town.
Less than 4000 on? Abysmal. Absolutely shocking. Embarrassing that they even announced it.Sad to say a lot of the so called “loyal hard core” chose to dtay away. Same people will be first in queue at 5am for tickets if we get into round 3 and a plum tie.
Nobs.

Well said pal, my thoughts as well!
Fuck the EFL
4 November 2017 at 9:36 pm #163043Game was crap today, slow approach play and when we did get in front of their goal we were shot shy?
That said, two cracking goals today. Crawleys was brilliant and Evans was a screamer… worth the entrance fee alone them two goals.
4 November 2017 at 9:48 pm #163044This is not just a Wigan thing, check all the FA cup crowds and see how bad they are. I thought it was quite enjoyable with us looking like we could crank it up at will. You will not see 3 better goals in the same match. Powell injury a worry at the end apart from that a decent work out without having to break sweat.
