I will certainly pay a tenner because it’s Wigan Athletic on the fixture, I’ve nothing else to stop me going, I love my club so I will be there just like in the old days when we could have had two matches in midweek. Floodlight cup and league games, Lancs Junior Cup and Floodlight Cup, Ashworth Trophy, Challenge Trophy, FA Cup, League Cups and League games plus benefit games and friendlies and the cups had second third and fourth replays. Three matches a week sometimes and all valued by fans. You may not go to them all but you wouldn’t just stay away on purpose like 4500 or so did on Saturday.

I’ll be there Donny, so that’s a crowd of two at least, If Accy bring a load we could make it to double figures.

I haven’t looked at this seasons attendances for the Checkatrade Trophy, but West Bromwich Albion academy team’s 2-0 defeat at home to Gillingham on 8 November 2016 was the lowest attendance last season, 274.
I think we will manage to better that.

In our group Blackpool V Boro U21 was 691.
          Charlton v Fulham U21 741
          Bristol Rovers v WHU U21 1508
Bradford City (a well supported team) v Everton U21 1260
AFC Wimbledon v Luton (no U21s involved) 581
          Swindon v Wycombe (ditto) 1236

I wouldn’t stress about our “non-crowd” tomorrow, or view it as something particularly Wiganesque.

No real interest in Chorley FC, but I gather they were unlucky to go down to an injury time winner from Fleetwood.
