We have signed 2 defenders and lost our keeper. Was our defence not our strong point last season.

Exactly what I was thinking jr, I would really love Burn to stay.
17 June 2017 at 1:24 am #159839Where is Buxton’s home town? Barcelona? Venice? Surely on the money we pay him he could live anywhere in this country and play for us.
Move to own town is a bullshit term for letting a player go to save a Championship salary.17 June 2017 at 4:42 am #159844Where is Buxton’s home town? Barcelona? Venice? Surely on the money we pay him he could live anywhere in this country and play for us.

It’s not mega bucks.
17 June 2017 at 1:53 pm #159851I’m not convinced there will be any great interest in Dan Burn. He finished last season strongly, but it took him until about February to pick up in form. I’d like him to stay as I think he can be a rock in league one.
As for Buxton, I’ve never been a huge fan. He lacks pace and can be slack on the ball. If we can sell him, I’d have no problem with that.I’m sensing Paul Cook is bringing in leaner, livelier players. I’ve good feelings about both Dunkley and Thomas.
