Yes in my opinion it was, but with Dan Burn likely to leave the club and Buxton looking to move back to his home town, we will need some extra big uns at the back.

Exactly what I was thinking jr, I would really love Burn to stay.
Where is Buxton’s home town? Barcelona? Venice? Surely on the money we pay him he could live anywhere in this country and play for us.

It’s not mega bucks.
I’m not convinced there will be any great interest in Dan Burn. He finished last season strongly, but it took him until about February to pick up in form. I’d like him to stay as I think he can be a rock in league one.
As for Buxton, I’ve never been a huge fan. He lacks pace and can be slack on the ball. If we can sell him, I’d have no problem with that.I’m sensing Paul Cook is bringing in leaner, livelier players. I’ve good feelings about both Dunkley and Thomas.
