I think when a chairman asks a club for permission to speak to their manager, it means they want him and don’t intend interviewing anybody else at this stage. B)

What a journey!Gotta say I don’t know much about him but I like the idea. Brentford fans generally gutted which is a good sign. A manager with something to prove rather than one that’s failed somewhere else.

Bloody ell,been out of the country for 4 wks, now no manager, dropped down the league and out of Europa league (nearly) I take it everything hasn’t gone well ? not the right guy for me but he’ll have my full support, I fancy Ollie but he’s to tired
He has done well at Brentford and fair play to Whelan for thinking outside the box and going for a bright manager from the lower divisions.
Big job in though sorting out. The team for the second half of the season and I’m sure we are going to see a big clear out!Whelan wants him , Rosler wants to come to Wigan and his family live in the North West. He will be announced the new Wigan manager today and travel tomorrow to Millwall.
