Stop moaning, tha’d a bin alreet in trenches wi me, in ’17.
Been round the stadium tonight; perfectly passable. Not a patch on the Boxing Day ice.
Not nearly as bad as Christmas Day 1915. Can’t believe that match went ahead.[/quote]
Halftime entertainment was poor as well. Paul McCartney singing ‘Pipes Of Peace’.

9 January 2010 at 1:23 pm #17697Told yer days agoOh, so it was you who broke the heating?
Pr***
9 January 2010 at 3:20 pm #17703They were told to turn the undersoil heating off off by the gas supplier to conserve gas for domestic users.
It was classed as non- essential.Really?
In which case, why say it broke?
9 January 2010 at 3:25 pm #17704I can’t see them saying it was broke if they were told to turn it off. If they have been told to switch it off as its non-essential, then just say so, that would be a perfectly acceptable reason for the game being off.
