call for all the posters who still believe we have one of the most powerful squads in this division. If the dolloper that is Fortune still leads our line under 2 managers then I can only deduce Riera and Delort are pants and will be on their way very soon.I have never been a fan like most of Ramis and the way Bamford made him look wooden last week and todays effort confirm that.Malky has a mammoth task on starting with a search in the loan market and a striker clear out a.s.a p..As you will see Blackburns Gestede rescues them a point in a game totally dominated by Boro ,showing the value of a goalscorer a luxury we haven’t had for a long time.We were p*** poor 2nd half and we are where we are because we have to many average players who are getting found out .Good luck Malky.

29 November 2014 at 10:28 pm #136365Mr Brownbill the problem is our insistence in playing one striker. From my first observation of this tactic with Jason Scotland fumbling around on his own against Wolves at home I have found this to be a boring and negative way to play the game and now part way in to our sixth season of this droll garbage is it not about time we played with two strikers on the field.
It doesn’t have to be 442 but please let us not rely on midfielders to get amongst the goals anymore and play our bloody strikers. AS mentioned before how the frig can our solo striker get on the end of their own crosses because our striker seems to be deep and out wide most of the match. Saying that they cant get on the end of Callums crosses because he is played too deep and McClean must have an eye problem because he can never find a blue shirt.29 November 2014 at 10:43 pm #136366That’s my point .How crap must our strikers be that at 1-1 and 2-1 down we still don’t bring them on.I, like a lot of supporters would love to see 2 up front but I think we’ll have to wait for Malky to change the playing staff before we see that. Also like previous posters have stated some of the players have a lot to answer for with unaceptble performances.

29 November 2014 at 11:35 pm #136370Riera and Delort played midweek along with 5 other 1st teamers and we won 4-0 with Delort scoring 2. Where’s Waghorn again? How people can write shite like how bad can Delort etc be when they’ve never been given a chance to play their game or form a partnership is beyond me. Riera an Delort v Norwich please with Waghorn instead of Callum, there I’ve said it.
30 November 2014 at 12:30 am #136373If delort riera waghorn had three men marking them they would do nothing
30 November 2014 at 2:36 am #136376In which case that would be 9 men marking 3 leaving 8 v 2
That could be one of the daftest things I’ve ever read on here. Nobody goes 3 v 1 ever, never, ever. He needs dropping for at least a game.
30 November 2014 at 4:47 am #136381Our best player by a country mile today was Fortune. He played the lone striker role superb holding it up, bringing other players in, but he was let down so bad by the link up play.
I think we are getting there, but a few tweeks are needed. McCann and Watson are nailed on, so is Carson, Taylor, the two Macs, Ramis if fit and Maloney when over his illness. Forshaw is going through a torrid time and I hate to say it, so is Boycie. He got beat so many times today by a poor, but fast winger which is not him.
I would look to play someone at the side of Fortune, maybe Delort or Waghorn and we will shoot up this league.
Cant believe we lost that game today and the Sheff wed fans couldn’t believe they had won it.
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!30 November 2014 at 1:21 pm #136384We seem to hark on about 2 up front , loan striker crap, average players bought in but what we have forgot to mention is the goals we concede and how poor the defence and goals conceded are.
MacKay needs to concentrate on defence first and everything else 2nd,
Every game starts off with a point in the bag, the problem is, we just never finish that way

well that what they did everytime he got the ball 3 players smothered him and if u have never seen that happen before i give up
