What a journey!Get Clarke off now…..no out ball. Hasn’t won a ball yet.Sorry but you’ve made yourself look foolish with that comment. Clarke is far from a favourite if mine but I’ll give credit where it’s due and it certainly was today. He was excellent.
Like to give both him and Garner the opputunity of playing together up top. That way there is a chance we could get the best out of both of them. Well that’s how they’ve been at their best elsewhere.
As I said worked hard but how many times did he actually hold on to the ball particularly 2nd half. You have your low standards ,I expect a bit more attacking the ball at set pieces…..Of course it was a better performance than his usual fare,not hard to better that though is it.As for “storming game”…..any glimmer of light from under the shit pile will do.
