The pre-match food topic got me thinking about some of the bizzare choice of sandwiches (or manwiches) I have had over the years. Obviously there’s the classsic full english sandwich and the Wigan pie barm, but what are peoples signature sarnies?
My favourite is scotch egg and cheese sandwich with salad cream. Not the healtiest thing I eat, but is an absolute treat!
A random one I once got told of and thought would be horrible until the fateful day I sampled it: pickled onion Monster Munch and tomato ketchup.
Combinations that are apparently normal that i have never understood are cheese and marmite sandwiches, and brie and grape. Urgh!

Tuna, cucumber and apple (not tuna mayo, just plain tuna).
Yum.
30 October 2012 at 3:37 am #95883My two lads decided to make Rice Krispie sandwiches this morning for breakfast. I thought it was disgusting. I usually stick to Special K butties.
30 October 2012 at 11:12 am #95887Always loved my ham and cheese sandwich lathered in salad cream, but many moons ago when I worked at Triplex in St Helens, I used to add a kitkat, it made the night turns that little bit better….yum

30 October 2012 at 1:27 pm #95895Come back from a night out once and decided to throw together a Crisp, Chips and Tommy K sandwich ….
It was fantastic.
Not sure how much that had to do with the skin full I had put away though…
31 October 2012 at 3:31 am #959252 buttered slices dipped in a pot noodle, Then drink the juice and make butties with whatever noodles you have left. Best butter if possible.
Messy, but a winner
