Just read on the os that the club is offering ‘official’ coach travel to Wembley.
I’m curious to know if this is in association with the coaches the supporters club are organising?
24 March 2013 at 1:09 pm #106008Strange how its £25 to QPR and £32 to Wembley despite distance being no different.
24 March 2013 at 1:19 pm #106010Strange how its £25 to QPR and £32 to Wembley despite distance being no different. When the cost of the coach is several hundred pounds more plus 70 quid parking fee as opposed to nothing that’s what happens.
24 March 2013 at 1:23 pm #106011It is an unfortunate side effect of the word Wembley, where we would usually take 2-4 coaches to QPR, there will be 35-50 coaches going to Wembley and they charge a premium.
The Club themselves are putting on coaches for people who don’t normally travel and are not members of the Supporters Club.
The Supporters Club are taking bookings for non members, but only the ones that are travelling with a WASC member (if that makes sense).
So if you have no friends or family in the Supporters Club you will have to book with the club @£35.
24 March 2013 at 1:29 pm #106012Oh, in answer to the question, no the coaches are nothing to do with WASC, but they will be from Eavesways.
24 March 2013 at 3:04 pm #106043So if I join the supporters club and we get to the final, I am on a winner anyway!!!!
This situation looks mighty like the money grabbing hierarchy have jumped on the back of you to make some money though, even if it is only £3 a person they even word as though they are booking on your behalf by saying they are ‘official coaches’. just surprised they didn’t take the whole shebang and put you to the side for the one off game call me cynical like.

Its £35 with wasc if your not a member dont know how true it is but been told its £200 to park a coach at wembley but I know its £27 to park a car.
24 March 2013 at 4:10 pm #106060It was said on another board somewhere that it is £63.50 for a coach

It was said on another board somewhere that it is £63.50 for a coachI have booked our coaches in at Wembley and it is definately £63.50 per coach.
24 March 2013 at 6:14 pm #106082Thanks for the response to my initial question. I have booked on to the supporters coaches, well coach 2 anyway. I do have another question. :)
I’m curious about the ‘welcome pack FA Cup Semi Final Survival Kits’ What are they going to contain?
24 March 2013 at 11:59 pm #106123Can you book your coach with the club online in one payment or is it another site you have to book on ?
25 March 2013 at 12:20 am #106127Yes you can, but you really should support the Supporters Club.
The Survival Kit will be a surprise for you… Well if you are travelling with WASC it will.
Remember WASC is a non profit association run by volunteers, all the money that comes in covers the cost of subsidising coaches throughout the season and enables them to put on special events like the one on Thursday plus other great work.
If Latics fans don’t travel with them and/or buy their membership every year our supporters will only have third parties or the Club that will want to make money from them.
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
25 March 2013 at 12:32 am #106128Was only asking  anyhow thanks for the info but to me if the club and WASC would only work together eh
25 March 2013 at 12:50 am #106129I am definitely not going to get into the politics of this. But as an example, they weren’t really that interested when we were struggling to fill a coach to Bournemouth, Swindon, Notts County and Crystal Palace to name a few.. trips where WASC lost loads.
But on the flip side of it, they do help WASC in lots of other ways!!!!!
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
25 March 2013 at 1:59 am #106143Anyone know how strict they are likely to be about ale on the official club coaches? Obviously it says don’t take any but would they really care if I took a few cans? Not a crate!
