It is illegal to do it.
That is another plus of Supporters Club Coaches, everybody knows it and doesn’t do it. There isn’t any abuse, drunkenness or unsavoury situations that way.
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
25 March 2013 at 2:20 am #106147Anyone know how strict they are likely to be about ale on the official club coaches? Obviously it says don’t take any but would they really care if I took a few cans? Not a crate!Police may stop, search and turn back the whole coach if any alcohol is found.
It says “don’t take” for a reason.

Note para 1(4) – it is also an offence to be drunk on such a vehicle

And you’ll probably fall off well before the coach reaches Wembley :woohoo:

Ha…I didn’t realise it was a law actually, just assumed it’d be down to the people who organised the coaches. I don’t do coaches as a rule, I much prefer trains but obviously it wasn’t an option this time.
Its a shame, as I wouldn’t mind having 4-5 quality German beers to enhance my journey, but its understandable as there’d probably be a few having 15 cans of crap beer if they were allowed and being sick etc
