Was talking to a former player in the Spa at Aspull, I asked him about the gadget on his back and he explained what it was. The first thing they do when they report for training is plug um into a laptop or similar that downloads the data for the period since the last training session.

When I say outside of football I mean that they don’t monitor players away from training or actually playing unless of course there is some underlying heart condition that may need monitoring but that would be done via a doctor. It ain’t some ‘Big Brother’ device that tells his employers what he has been up to!![/quote]
