Of all the players we have sold on who do you think we have missed the most and why?
For me it would have to be Palacios or Heskey27 May 2010 at 2:10 pm #34890Heskey.
By far the best striker that we’ve had in the Premiership, and we won’t go finding another of his calibre within our price range any time soon.

Jason roberts :D – Probably Palacios last season.
27 May 2010 at 3:11 pm #34895Jimmy Bullard
For all his faults he ws the hub of that team & at the heart of everything Latics did when they didn’t have the ball & at the heart of everything we did going forward and that has never been replaced
27 May 2010 at 3:14 pm #34898Wilson Palacios.
we have really struggled to replace him.
27 May 2010 at 3:24 pm #34899Palacios by a mile, Henri Camara has been our best premiership striker. He was good at pretty much everything.

27 May 2010 at 3:43 pm #34902has to be Arry de zeuwe (sp) for me, a born leader we havent quite managed to get back, that 1st tackle in the 1st prem game v chelsea was just the start and example we needed from a captain.
27 May 2010 at 5:05 pm #34907there are 2 that we have missed most
gomez and scotland-both of them came as footballers and they have both proved they are not

Tedious now, LMB.

but that tackle was not half as good as the one by bramble against wallcott in the arsenal win , everybody in the ground except wallcott saw it coming and held their breath in anticipation, and good old titus didnt dissapoint anyone, wallcott went flying absolute classic.
27 May 2010 at 5:31 pm #34910Recurring theme, but Palacios. Without question the best player that ever put on a Latics shirt.
Can’t understand the idea that Bullard was never replaced when we had this fella playing for us for a year.
