We don’t miss keepers were that good.Haven’t we improved on Camara with Rodallega (despite playing him on the left)? And, Baines isn’t that much better than Figueroa, really.
Isn’t Diamé on course to be the “new” Palacios?He’ll be even better than Palacios in a few years I reckon, he just needs to be more adaptable to defensive & attacking positions. Maybe work on weaker foot more.

Baines is a lot better player than Figgy who imo is an average defenderWhereas Baines is world-class? Ok.
I’d consider Baines better going forward, but defensively, Figueroa has the edge.

It doesn’t depend how you look at it…Figueroa is nothing special..Half decent ball in the box but AWFUL at defending…Baines was decent enough all round.
Who-ever said Heskey was our best striker in the prem was wrong IMO… Roberts maybe.
We have NOT improved on Camara with Rodallega..Rodders is not so good..Needs time up front but is not as quick or good with the ball as Camara was.
Player we miss the most has to be Palacious.
Seeing as we cant score so many goals it has to be Roberts. He is one of the reasons why we are in the prem. He could hold the ball up and score for fun ! He was fairly consistent as well !
