Got to be Blackpool, it would be very reminicent of our lower league days and would be a great day out, plus and almost guaranteed 6 points, or is that jinxing it?

27 April 2010 at 12:09 am #30887Fair play, but I think that defeat had alot to do with the fact that we played a team with very poor players in (Amaya, King etc) and none of the players that night looked up for the Carling Cup, it was almost like Bobby had told them to get knocked out. In a league game and all it’s importance and a better team, I think it’ll be a different story.
27 April 2010 at 12:13 am #30891Blackpool for me also.
The manager Holloway is a fantastic bloke with great values.
They need to finish that ground-will be great when they finish it
They always take loads away
Anyone but Leicester and Forest Yaaaaaawn!
27 April 2010 at 6:42 am #30928I love Cardiff as a place and have never been to their new ground, but I don’t want a Welsh team in the English Premier League (same way I don’t want a Scottish team in)
Blackpool or Forest would be good for days out on the train.

Blackpool is a good day out with good pubs and bars wouldnt mind a trip their next year27 April 2010 at 3:19 pm #30950Blackpool for me too.
Went to watch them thrash the arris off Swansea last month with a pal of mine (long story) and must say they looked quite a good team. New part of the stadium was up and running and had a proper feeling about it.
Only just over 9000 on but by ‘ell they can make a racket (we could learn a lesson there) and their MC at the begining of the game got the crowd going and continued whenever he got the chance – our guy could learn a lesson or two from him.
Oh and Mr Martinez if you are seriously still considering bringing Britton here please have a rethink – he was absolute ‘tosh’ (and was subbed).
The rest of the night pales into a haze I’m afraid…………… ;)
