A copy of our first ever match in The Premier League 8 years later.
Sky TV Cameras in the house.
Raise the spirits of the players to ruin the European Champions.
Thank Roberto Martinez for not accepting scouse or vile offers.
Thank the chairman for supporting Roberto and our club.
Welcome the new players to our club.
First game of a historic season.
The players enjoy it, the manager enjoys it, the chairman enjoys it, the directors enjoy it and we enjoy it.
Meet n Greet for the anniversary of our opening Premier League fixture and get the boys off on the right foot.
No doubt Martinez’s decision to stay was made easier by the wonderful support given by Wigan Athletic fans in the face of relegation.
I’ve set up recurring tweets and Facebook posts via Gremlin Social. Going to be meeting from 11.30 and will have to wait until Jason is back to confirm Supporters Club bar will be open.
7 August 2012 at 3:28 pm #91031Supporters Bar will be open, and for those that are waiting for their membership cards, they will be posted out over the next couple of days and should be with you soon.
For those that are not members yet, go to the official Supporters club web site and visit the membership page….
There is a link to the site at the top of this site.

16 August 2012 at 8:31 pm #91525All automatic whilst I’m at work through Gremlin Social. B)Don’t get taking about “social” or you’ll have our resident retard all over you.
Anyway, my point was, don’t you think reminders every 2 hours is a bit OTT?
16 August 2012 at 9:31 pm #91532He may be thinking about our resident retards by doing it every 2 hours griff, though every 2 minutes would be more apt, attention span of a goldfish some folk.

I have messaging set up to give ff’s out on Friday to followers, so I simply extended that. Keeps it in the spot light though, even promoting the actual match.
It’s nice to see so many wafc mentions and gets plenty retweets.17 August 2012 at 5:35 pm #91581A copy of our first ever match in The Premier League 8 years later.Sky TV Cameras in the house.

i never attend the ‘meet and greet’ myself as i am always in the pub but fair play to you and good luck for sunday and for the rest of the season
it was acknowledged as making a difference last season (by RM and by the players) and will hopefully continue to do so this season, particularly for the new boys to whom it may come as a welcome surprise on day 1
18 August 2012 at 1:02 am #91602Brilliant idea that is very popular in europe proving that supporters have real power at influencing results with this kind of thing.
The club is completely behind its supporters and i have a very strong feeling this could be a season as good as the first one in the prem.18 August 2012 at 12:44 pm #91624I must admit, it looked quite good at Blackburn when they showed Rovers getting off the coach to absolutely nothing and then our lads getting off to massive cheers and the players seemed to be having a laugh.
Good luck with it and as andyc says, lets hope it continues to have an influence.
