I think you are missing the point about why it’s (probably) been postponed.
They (the club management) probably felt it would be inappropriate for players to turn up at a club-shop opening ceremony after yesterday’s performance. I don’t think that the shop staff themselves need feel sufficiently persecuted to refuse to open up this morning. They are not being blamed for yesterday’s defeat, though if we give it time someone will probably do so.
