Oh God. When you have to explain.
Everyone has been going on (on various social media) about us needing to play 4-4-2. I have constantly argued that we are in fact playing 4-5-1, even when we play both Bogle and Grigg.
I was now being sarcastic that “playing two up front” (joking – hence the quotes), even though we aren’t, has led to us winning. Oh no, it hasn’t. As our goal came from a centre back.
It was a simple sideswipe at the 4-4-2 brigade that has now completely lost its intended point. :(Oh God. When you have to explain.

If you think I didn’t understand your sarcasm then you are totally wrong. Of course I know you were having a go at fans of 4-4-2. but the fact we started with the two strikers does give fans of positive football a glimmer of hope for the future despite the goal by a defender from a corner when we were back to one striker on the field. Didn’t seem to see anyone come on here saying I told you so anyway so less of the sarcasm and more of the celebration for three points won however we won it.
What next then for Nob End? How do we play against their positive 4-4-2 tactics? Stifle them or go at them. Should be interesting but if we win playing boreball I won’t be coming on here with sarcastic comments about fans of the midfield negative game I will be too busy celebrating.
