That one must rank as one of the best ever scored by a Latics player. Would take some beating to better that.From where he collected the ball, the run and then that final delivery just class.

I think most of us knew it was a good deal at the time, only one of a few decent deals we did. I think we also knew he’d end up doing what he’s doing at West Brom.
Like I say a shame we only saw glimpses like in the vid, as when he was on it he was unplayable. Always a doubt with his fitness levels, never seen a player so jiggered after an hour.
He was never the same after getting polaxed against Aresnal same could of been said to a lesser extent for Gary Teale when he got twotted at Stoke
