A neutral who supports which team?
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!2 December 2017 at 6:02 pm #163870Press the panic button much?
It was an off night, it happens. When Exeter drew 0-0 at Old Trafford did it mean Utd were crap or that the Prem is? No. It meant that things went their way not Utds.
Could have been 3 or 4 at half time but it wasn’t and that gave them something to fight for 2nd half and they did. We looked too cocky 2nd half TBH.
On a wider pitch at home I have no worries.
2 December 2017 at 6:07 pm #163874Apart from some poor passing and finishing we actually looked slick and a class apart. Creating space with lots of movement but just occasionally some of our players let us down with individual mistakes. We were head and shoulders above Fylde who are full time pros and only two divisions below us. I was expecting much more from Fylde but in the end I couldn’t say we were shite and whoever that neutral was commenting about League one must have seen we were a class apart and if league one is bad we have made other sides in it look bad. Bollocks to neutrals who are stuck in an armchair watching Sky Premier greed and Euro shite.
2 December 2017 at 6:23 pm #163876No gobby…a neutral who went !!!…Still as we know only your opinion matters.League 1 is poor as it was when we won it 2 seasons ago. Thats taking nothing away from us so far this season. Can only beat what’s in front of us.Still I’m not having this blowing smoke up their arses crap,we were shit last night against a very poor side,2nd half was cringe worthy.
2 December 2017 at 6:36 pm #163877Where did neutrals purchase tickets?
2 December 2017 at 6:36 pm #163878Its called the FA Cup guys. A chance for minnows to pit their wits against the big boys. And, on occassions, ACTUALLY beat them. I remember 4 years ago when we were minnows in may & look what happened.
Fylde, (& come on guys lets give them credit here!) probably even upped their game against us to try & get a result against recent cup winners.

Just answer the fekin question instead of being defensive and throwing insults.

What a journey!2 December 2017 at 7:02 pm #163880Season ticket at Goodison, got offered a spare so got off his sofa and went……happy….so because he’s not Wigan to the core he can’t have an opinion ?..Oh and I also think the standard is poor…..is that ok ?
2 December 2017 at 7:05 pm #163881But as people have reminded me with this modern tactic we are top of the league with the best defence and we are top goal scorers.
Is this just because of the standard of this league Vat or do you think with 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 we would be even further ahead in the league?I think its a piss poor quality league, with maybe 4 or 5 better teams in it, of which we are one, Bradford another, probably Shrewsbury and a couple of others. I think there are divides in every division now. Bradford were much better than any other side thats come to the DW so far this season. Fleetwood will be no push overs either. They won 3 nil at Bradford a few weeks ago.
Would we be even better with 2 forwards? I think so, yes. Playing only one up front was a tactic managers used to use away from home. Why it has become so common, I’ve no idea.
2 December 2017 at 7:06 pm #163882Donny….”bollocks to neutrals” blah blah…..if you don’t go you can’t have an opinion…….
2 December 2017 at 7:36 pm #163884We are top of the league and top goal scorers with the best defence. It’s not the end of the world that we drew a game in the cup.
We have got in that position from consistently playing a similar side in a similar system and whether us as fans like that system or not there is plenty evidence to show it’s worked so far. Was last night’s system much different than in the league?? No it wasn’t it was just the same as when we didn’t get results going for us in the league. Next week watch out Fleetwood.2 December 2017 at 8:44 pm #163886Season ticket at Goodison, got offered a spare so got off his sofa and went……happy….so because he’s not Wigan to the core he can’t have an opinion ?..Oh and I also think the standard is poor…..is that ok ?To be fair, if he is a Goodison season ticket holder then he should know what he is talking about when it comes to shite.
2 December 2017 at 9:00 pm #163887Everton fan with big chip on shoulder me thinks.
Still he’ll be happy as a pig in shyte today. Has he forgot that Everton played like that a few years ago. From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!3 December 2017 at 12:50 am #163893Baffles me why Everton fans think they’re a big club. There’s grandparents in Liverpool haven’lt seen them win anything.
3 December 2017 at 3:19 am #163894Who remembers when we first signed Morsey and he was a marauding attacking midfielder ? Every time he got the ball back then we anticipated some action, whether it be a run into the box or some great effort on goal from distance but now he seems bereft of any of that?I’ve said the same filmoss.. morsey plays deep now, along with power. Thought he was tireless in that forward ish role putting defence under pressure. For me, he’s wasted in that ho,ding midfielder position. Don’t get me wrong he’s good, but I much preferred him further up the field.
