If, God forbid, we lose against Millwall, I will have no sympathy whatsoever for anyone who has chosen not to go the semi because they are saving themselves for Wembley – whatever the reason.
agree they may not even get a ticket for final because we get 25k
I know the lad in the banana, he is daft as a brush, I cant really say much I put the coach on for the first load of bananas (Including Myself) to wolves on boxing day few years back!
the best post i have seen in this topic !!! :)
Most people moaning about costs are the same people that will spend the weeekend in the boozer.
That’s a massive presumption.. and one that is, more than likely, wrong!
I sympathise with anyone who has to pay for a FULL family to go down to Wembley for the game.
It’s gonna be a dear do just for myself, so I can understand why people may be reluctant to spend daft money when money itself is very tight at the moment.I also have to aim a couple of questions at everybody kicking off about how many tickets we’ve sold:
1) How many do you THINK we’ve sold so far?
2) How many were you actually EXPECTING to buy tickets?
1. 15k
2. 25kCouldn’t give 2 s**ts about how many we take to be honest.
As long as all our proper fans are out in force showing some passion & making some noise, then I’ll be happy.
If we did take 25k, then 10k would just be day-trippers who couldn’t give a flying fork whether we won or not… so I’m really not arsed whether those sort of people decide to turn out.
Ye, it would look better for the TV cameras – but who’s bothered, really?
We’ve had enough stick in the past for our following, and look at us… 8 years in the Prem and at Wembley watching our little club in the FA Cup semis.
If people want to overlook our achievement, and just want to poke fun at the fact a team based in a town of 80000 people couldn’t sell 30000 tickets, then leave them to it.
They’re clearly simple minded tossers who know f*ck all about our club, or football in general.
Big attendances don’t win you games.
No fans, no money, no history… NO WORRIES!
you say that but most players will tell you that fans spare them on and can act as a 12th man
So you think the extra 10k day-trippers would be the ones making all the noise?Don’t be so naive – they would just fill seats.
The noise will be coming from the exact same people who make the noise at our home/away games every week..
i know who will be making the noise and singing their hearts out but an extra 10k would add to that atmosphere

Quite right, and it would stop people harping on about the size of our fanbase…
On another note, i might be wrong with this but does anyone else think there has been a lack of promoting for this semi by the club? Would have thought the club would have marketed this better with the local radio station & papers etc to create more of a buzz around town?
agree i expected the club to do a lot more

it’s more than our lodgers 6.5k they took to their semi last year, and that was only 1 hour away       :lol:we cant really argue about attendances if we fail to get a good number for wembley, the rugby usually nearly sell out dont they in finals ?
Just rang ticket office for extra tickets for Wembley.
Reply where would you like to sit take your pick :ohmy:Why when we are 90 mins away from Europe have we not at least nearly sold out embarassed by our support sometimes.
Arr well will just have to shout and sing louder
Come on lads get behind the team and get your tickets
I did the same yesterday and considering i bought mine on the first day of them going on sale to season ticket holders the two additional tickets were in the very next block. Didn’t expect us to sell out but hoped we could take 20k as anything less will be a bit embarrassing.
Grimsby & Wrexham took about 18k each for their final at Wembley and they are non league
oh dear this could be very embarasing
i also expected at least 20/25k probably wont even reach 20
There’s a few of us staying in Watford as well, so it’d good to decide somewhere on here beforehand then we can create a bit of an atmosphere.what hotel you in ? think were stopping in watford would be better if loads are in pub together
It’s equally as important as the Norwich game. No point dragging sides into it if you let them off the hook a week later.totally agree
i reckon its time to try and keep our key players regardless of offers made
i dont fancy it the pitch is too bobbley
This game is important but for me not as big as the Norwich game. That win has got 4/5 other clubs looking over their shoulders big time. Will they hold their nerve??
We have the momentum so no reason why we can’t get a result at QPRi think we need 3 points from this with city and arsenal and spurs coming up ! but i do agree with you the teams above will be worried its squeeky bum time as fergie the wisky drinking red faced **** would say
