I was wondering myself where it came from GL until someone pointed me to the footage. Don’t even know why he worded it like that, all that was said that day, was the Chairman is looking to speak to the staff, players and as many fans as he can.

There is a little more:
They held “votes” on Twitter which most people didn’t know about to “ask those who donated how to use the funds” and each option was: Give the money to Wigan Athletic Community Trust for none Wigan Athletic reasons. The head of WASC then, I’m sure completely coincidentally joined Wigan Athletic Community Trust.
There wasn’t transparency on the fact the money donated wasn’t used by the admin as per the official companies house administration reports.
They actively ignored people who wanted to invest in “Plan B” because “they weren’t in the circle of trust” despite being 1.5m short of what was needed.
The options were with the Community Trust campaigns because it was stated on the crowdfunder, that if any money was returned it would go to Community Trust Projects. The options were given at the time on Social Media and the website of the current CT projects.
Caroline was asked to join the Community Trust as a Deputy Head of a Secondary School, to bring her knowledge to the Trust so they could work more effectively in Secondary schools. The fact she was Chair of WASC had no bearing on her taking this voluntary role to help promote the CT and Wigan Athletic further.
There was complete transparency of WASC transferring money when the Administrators provided invoices, this included paying Eavesway for the coaches (2 of them instead of one, for every game as per COVID rules), Stadium Staff wages, petrol for the lawn mowers etc….
Plan B was always there, no matter what the thoughts or gossip says. But the cold fact is it would have seen us struggle, hence yhe need for a buyer.

I have said it for years, referees getting 1 major decision wrong, can change the outcome of a game.
Preston was a prime example. Without equalising from the spot, would they have gone on to win anyway, I am not convinced.

I reckon we will be up against it down there and a shame many fans won’t be able to make it – understandably. We will probably only have 300 there, but will make the noise of 1000.

Both Mutty and Edwards couldn’t have coped with the lack of alcohol so I used the tickets for myself and Mrs Horc.
Is the voucher for Edwards winner last year or Mutty the year before, or me.Don’t think a Shop voucher will be much use to Mutty, I’ll buy him a drink or two the next time I stumble into him.

Agreed, it was a great result, but not a great game.
Battled hard and that I think is what would have let us down if we’d played 3 weeks ago. Hughes is a very good player, hard to fault him. I like others are still wondering if Power and Keane really are our best options, neither has showed very much for months now, but unlike others that have been replaced, they still remain.

Sorry lads, I am just the organiser and the runner of the competition on behalf of CockneyLatic, and I have enough to do without arranging the presentation ceremonies for the winners.
That task is something for the more important people on this bard, not just a mere minion like me.
Have a word with The Egg or Jayt, I am sure it was them that sorted out a car sticker or the likes for previous winners.
I am sure there might be a bit of LR or KT training kit hanging around.Ah, so you kept the luxury holiday in Dubai for yourself then… no worries you do a good job you deserve it.
