Without Costelloe continually pulling defenders all over the shop Bettoni wouldn’t have had the freedom he got. Seems to be overlooked by some………just imagine what Saydee would have looked like after 90 mins of Costelloe’s work rate???…..Probably gassed out after 30 mins. ….

Players were released because they wouldn’t fit in to his woeful system and asking those he recruited to adapt to a specialised role.
