Wow….haven’t read article but that really shows the reality of us subsidising the other 2 whilst we sell our few assets. . Love to hear the rose tinted brigade put their usual positive spin on this. If we no longer own the ground then why ?????…Club is a skeleton!!!!….
P### poor decision to sell. Raw talent who with our abundance of”so called” wingers could have developed into a good target man. His 2nd goal Saturday showed excellent ground control..his 3rd was a brilliant header….ball was virtually behind him but still managed to direct it in. He was ours,no freebie bollocks, no transfer fee required and would have been on Dansonesque peanuts. Needed game time, good coaching and confidence building. Instead he got F### all…..3 up ,1 sub left with 10 mins to go and STILL Maloney overlooked him. Can’t blame him for going, then again probably didn’t have much choice once we saw colour of their money.F####### laughable considering we couldn’t or wouldn’t source a striker in 2 windows .2nd half Saturday will bear no resemblance to Stockport game. No doubt another lucky dip 11…..Those that performed so well 2nd half probably sit 1st 60 minutes on bench. Don’t understand how some think our recruitment been anything but a joke !!!…The loan players are just that….perform well, shop window then snapped up by other clubs in summer. There was Stones!!…A rough diamond, cheap, hungry and a no lose bet. Kelman proved one that got away…..no world beater but scope was there but Maloneys system is a strikers crypt. Wouldn’t recognise a goalscorer if Ibrahimovic turned up at training. Good luck Josh.
What another underwhelming window. No striker……can’t or won’t sign one, f###### if I know why but it’s stupidity at its best. Let’s get this right once and for all …Taylor for all his endeavour ISN’T a goalscorer…..so that leaves us 1….and the jury’s out on him. Joint lowest scorers in the league..Aasgaards goals gone…another 2 points dropped Saturday….enough chances to have won comfortably…..so we can all see the glaring problem…….that is apart from our wing obsessed manager and obviously the recruitment buffoons. Thomas injured Saturday……no problem rapidly replacing him Monday………Rest of season policy????….Keep it tight….try nick a goal then hang on for dear life whilst boring the bollocks of us……if we go behind?…we are screwed. Absolute tosh that for whatever reason in 2 windows we can’t recruit 1 experienced goalscorer……won’t improve in next window either….just keep topping up with wingers…and defenders that aren’t a necessity.
Fine but we don’t need a striker according to Maloney and our f###### useless recruitment team.
Agree CW.Then again he does fit our 24/25 transfer policy, uninspiring!!.Can’t get in Crawley team recently ,hardly scores but at least not a winger. Supposedly also after a midfielder from Fulham on loan and yet again the striker void remains…….recruitment is run by the Chuckle brothers!!!
Agree with everything .I’m not going Saturday. Difficult for me because my granddaughter loves every game win, lose, draw so I’ve continued to go out of guilt if she couldn’t go .She can’t make it Saturday so stuff the game. We both season ticket holders and future fund members, done a lot of aways at a considerable expense for myself heading to retirement so this decision is totally against the grain for me. Just can’t motivate myself to watch more yawnfest football played in a crypt. I can live with mid table if I could see a long term plan and some ambition from the owner as well as some interaction from him with the supporters……but nothing. Why did he purchase the club? No football club in the EFL makes regular profits…sustainability….sick of hearing that. Remember what he said about investing in our youth ? How’s that working out ? If he means the youngsters we are buying then we are truly f#####. We haven’t progressed on or off the pitch in nearly 2 years. Everything from the playing staff, management, ground, recruitment supporter interaction is non league or worse standard. Total disrespect to the East stand supporters when we hosted Man Utd all paints a sad picture of this club we love. Danson needs to start fixing things personally before it’s too late.
A few days of window remain and Olakigbe returning means that likely
to be another loan arrival….would you give this recruitment team a bean of any transfer revenue…..The loan signings in general have been pitiful….the permanent ones look as bad…Rankine, Asamoah,Mellish,Sibbick,Hungbo and Weir been a disappointment up to now.F### knows where this club is heading but 18 months in and rigor mortis is starting to develop……I had so much hope after the Danson announcement……talk about a false dawn….and still no dialogue from our owner……..Shambles.Peterborough won 1 in last 10 !!! Hit for 5 weekend..then up rolls gift horse Wigan again .Piss poor squad of players, piss poor manager and an owner who couldn’t give a flyer. Aasgaards goals now out of the equation ..1 recognised striker in a 30 man squad and he’s on f###### loan as per usual.Who the hell sources these players…Rankine, Norbury,Thomas,Olakigbe,Sibbick,Asamoah,Hungbo,Hugill,…..jury’s out on Goodwin, Mellis……..When the purse is bolted shut then that’s what you have to play with ….and Maloney isn’t up to getting a tune out of a shagged fiddle..not with his pass to death shite….50 years but f### that Saturday….spend the afternoon in the pub ,spending time with my wife. If Danson doesn’t give a f### ….then I’ll join him……at least for a day !!!!!
Work nights so going in late to watch game. 30 mins enough M6 here I come. Absolutely w###……some of the worst signings in 1 season ever. Clubis in a f###### state ..top to bottom!!!!!
It’s simply Aasgaards decision…..he can choose to stay and wait. Unless he’s completely pissed off with the running of the club and just wants to get out of Dodge. Can’t blame him if I’m truthful. Was hoping Lutons interest would start a bidding bun fight, but more likely Danson wants a cash return 1st and foremost so probably deadbolt the door behind him as he left for negotiations…..I try never miss a game at home and have done quite a few away but thinking about sacking Saturday off. The football on offer is dreadful,w### ambition signings,w### ambition sales..pointless continual loan deals…the dreary uninviting stadium and match day experience etc struggling to get me there so no F####### chance of persuading day tripper supporters to come on down. Really starting to lose that “my club” passion I’ve always had…..Danson may have rescued us but in 18 months done nothing to regenerate that feeling of unity and us against the odds that was so prevalent in all the 50 year I’ve supported us. He may own us but he doesn’t appreciate the emotional input during our lives that we invest in our club….you can’t buy that or put a price on it……then again he’d F####### try !!!!!….Club feels like a carcass being picked apart.
Apparently already have someone lined up to replace him. Olakigbe gone so guarantee it’s another loan deal. Shambolic.
Really.??Luton ???..Could be back in league 1 next season. Can’t fathom why he would even contemplate that move. Surely waiting till summer would see potentially more ambitious career moves develop. 3 million?? Who the f### negotiated these pittance of clauses ? Bet tickles is same. Based on our sales and transfers must have most incompetent recruitment team in Europe, and a zero (football wise) ambitious owner too.
Have to disagree about Rovers. Similar to Stoke another mid table mediocre side.Rovers could “sooner rather than later”be the next club with serious financial issues. Already £240 million(and rising) in debt and the Venkys rumour has it are considering their future ownership due to various financial legislation changes at home. The lad deserves a big move so hopefully our owner will hang on till summer and NOT let him go on the cheap. 3.5 mill taking the pee…..Rovers wouldn’t let Szmodics or Wharton go for peanuts so if that figure true hope we told them to f### off……cheeky brothers of Bolton. .
Maloney states yesterday that Hugills return was purely financial as he wanted to keep him……Oh F #### off. Said with our budget we can’t afford to have 3 no 9’s on the books !!!!!….3.???….Obviously no applied mathematics degree !…By his own admission when recruiting Taylor he stated he was a no 10 who’s talent is to link up with a forward. So where’s the 3…Stones gone leaves Goodwin as only true striker…..Worse off now than before window opened. Absolutely f####### embarrassing….sustainability????….this is way beyond that…..what club in the EFL has only 1 striker in their squad??….Unless he now classes our plethora of wingers as such?……..How skint are we?…..Without a doubt Bamber Bridges budget exceeds ours…..
Had it from a reliable source an experienced striker was being unveiled on the 3rd……..surely not classing yet another winger with minimal experience as it ?……How many wingers does he want…..to cross the ball into a vacuum ?????
