Didn’t the police question why there was a coach load of kids without responsible adult presence? Anyone know the answer to that?
It’s the finish we lack. Create chances but no finish.
Our coach driver had been speaking to driver of said coach. It was a group of latics fans. He’d spoken to his gaffer who had told him to leave them behind but the police said he couldn’t.Poor chap was terrified apparently.Stop off at services. Get them all off. Drive away.

Maybe on here – but occasionally the stream goes so you have to find another, and sometimes “foreign” commentary
I’ve got the feeling that there’s something stupid like Wish FM’s coverage is on air only
I have this picture on my website labelled:
Back row: Ian Ledgard, Derek Temple, Billy Sutherland, Roberts, Dennis Reeves, Geoff Davies, Kenny Morris, Dave Breen, Savage
Front Row: Doug Coutts, Ian Gillibrand, Gordon Milne, Bobby Todd, Jim FlemingSorry, I’m unclear.
Are these a bunch of Latics kids who wrecked a coach, and then tried to bum a lift home – or am I reading this wrong?
If that really is true then frankly I don’t care if they got home – and nor I suspect did their parents.
But without all the facts I just don’t know.
What funeral? Has someone died?
I’m up for it, depending on price obviously and preferably somewhere we won’t get our heads kicked in by neo Nazis :ohmy:No – Sunderland aren’t in it
I’m not knocking the idea – but a 100-seater plane will not be half the price of a 200-seater.I’m sure the club have contacts they can use.
One possibility maybe, is that if it really is in the furthest depths of Uzbekistan, could the club make available 25-50 or so seats on the team’s plane?

I’m sure the club have some contacts to advise them.
One thought though. If we’re playing somewhere really obscure with only a few wanting to go – could the club get a slightly bigger plane themselves and 25-50 fans could travel with the team?
I think, as SW said, would we get 200?
What do Welsh and smaller Scottish teams do?
When we went to Berlin a few weeks back we flew out from Manchester and back to Liverpool. You don’t have to do a “return” trip wih a budget airline. You could even use different airlines.
It’s very complicated. What we need is someone with experience of arranging foreign football travel.
If only there was someone on this board who did that ;)
I would suggest you set out from Methwold, and drive to Watford.
You can catch the tube to Wembley from there.
Happy to help.
