          If we draw one of them it means Blackburn or Millwall are in the other semi.

          If (and I know it’s a big if) they win that semi then if we play them in the final the runner-up won’t qualify.

              This has been one of the greatest weekends for Wigan Athletic.

              Why do you even have to mention the rugby team? If they’d been on you would have complained. They haven’t and you complain. It’s not a contest – they play a completely different sport.

              Give it a rest. I’m a patient man, but this is getting me down.

                A perfectly reasonable slip for him to make. Nothing to do with rugby. It’s what’s written on the cup.

                      In fact do you think he’s not been doing that?

                      Because if he has been trying not to win it (that sounds complicated to me and I wrote it) then he’s done a bad (or is it a good) job of it

                              I had to actually get some work done yesterday.

                              There’s never any need for that. Get some other jobs at home out of the way. Plan relaying your driveway for example. A good way to start is to investigate the base needed.

                              Just Google the word “hardcore” to get some ideas.
