Plymouth now 7pm, stream money goes to club

We have been made aware that the Plymouth game will now kick off at 7pm to allow the team to get back a little earlier. With the re being no fans in the stadiums, there is this sort of flexibility and I think most fans prefer the earlier time when being forced into watching on TV.

Whilst we are on that subject, please be aware that most of the money from the Streaming Service on Latics TV goes directly to the club, whether that is home or away games. As SLO I asked this question at the beginning of the first lockdown and the answer is still the same today.

When you get your £10 stream pass, Latics get £7-£8 of it. When we are at home, we get every penny from the our fans and an agreed amount, equivalent to the number of fans the fixture usually attracts. When we are away we agree on a number of fans that would have travelled and the home club gets that amount, anything over the number agreed on goes to Latics.

So if we agreed that 500 Wigan Fans would have travelled to Plymouth, the Pilgrims would keep the revenue from the first 500 tv passes, everything above that Latics would receive.

If you need to have any questions answered about anything to do with Wigan Athletic, Myself (Jason Taylor) and Ian Wadsworth are still working and are available. Just email on jason@wiganathleticslo.co.uk and I will endeavour to answer any questions or requests you may have.
