Wigan Athletic has had their win against Arsenal voted as the performance of the week.
League Managers Association Performance of the Week, sponsored by F&C Investments, has given Latics the prestigious title after they battled back from 2-0 down with ten minutes to go and claim a dramatic and well deserved 3-2 win over Arsenal.
We also won the award for our 3-1 defeat of Chelsea earlier in the season, it is a testament to the hard-work and effort put in by the players, staff and fans during last Sunday’s amazing triumph.
Roberto Martinez will be presented with a specially engraved crystal vase before this weekend’s clash with West Ham, which fans will be able to see on Sky Sports’ Soccer Saturday programme.
