How do the experts see Wigan Athletic’s game against Fulham, let’s have a look at how the pundits and bookies see this game going at the weekend….
Mark Lawrenson has gone for a 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage on Sunday. Although everyone seems to slate the BBC pundit, he has consistently come in the top ten in the Cockney Latic Prediction League and currently lies 5th. He predicted 2-0 for City last week and wasn’t far away.
He said about his prediction; “A lot will depend on how Fulham come through their Europa League tie against Wolfsburg – particularly if they pick up any injuries. Fulham have a chance of creating history and their focus will be on trying to crown an outstanding season with some European silverware. I don’t know what the Spanish is for ‘Jekyll and Hyde’ but Wigan boss Roberto Martinez must have felt his side have resembled a footballing version. Their inconsistency all season will have been a source of huge frustration for him.”
Of the Prediction League users (sponsored by Workit Recruitment) 35% are going for 1-1 draw, 13/2 on Betfair
Betfair, the fastest growing betting site in the UK, also has it going the way of a 1-1 draw with odds of 13/2, 1-0 to the hosts is at 7/1 and 1-0 to Latics a 10/1 punt.
Latics are slight outsiders in this game and so are 3/1 for the win, so if betting is something you do, maybe a try of Betfair is something to consider.
Registration is easy, the odds are usually better than anywhere else (if there not you can ask for better) and to round it off, if your first bet loses they will refund it for you up to the value of £25.
