How do the experts see Wigan Athletic’s game against Everton, let’s have a look at how the pundits and bookies see this game going at the weekend….
Mark Lawrenson has gone for a 2-0 Everton win at the Goodison on Saturday. The BBC pundit is currently lying 4th in the Cockney Latic Prediction League and that shows that he knows his stuff.
He said about his prediction; Everton were really good value for a point at Chelsea last week, and they actually bossed the second half at Stamford Bridge. They must have got a bit of a blast from David Moyes after being thumped 4-1 by West Brom at home at the end of November but, since then, I think they have got over their own little dip in form.
Wigan also did really well last weekend to keep coming back against a Stoke side who really had their tails up, which is never easy. But I’m not convinced that the Latics are the same side when they are on their travels and I cannot see them getting anything here.
Of the Prediction League users (sponsored by Workit Recruitment) 23% are going for 2-1 win to Latics, 31/1 on Betfair. Latics certainly have the game to win, but are they going to catch Everton on a bad day.
The last two seasons have seen us get battered by Everton, but surely we are due a good run, all these good performances have got to turn things round soon, maybe this is the game.
