After Wigan Athletic tore Liverpool to bits in midweek, it is back to business at the DW Stadium to try to keep up the momentum shown on Wednesday night against West Brom.
West Brom will have watched the footage from our draw against Liverpool and will hope that we aren’t in the same mood for this game. It was an impressive display but will count for nothing if we can’t build on it against the Baggies.
Latics didn’t suffer any new injuries either although I bet there are a few weary legs. The only decision Roberto will have to make is whether to start with the team that finished in midweek or the one that started.
West Brom have had a good start to the season and sit 5 points and 6 places higher up the league than Latics, but as we know there is a long way to go yet and anything can still happen.
We will be looking at this game as one we can get all three points from and with a rough run to come, we need to grab all the points we can get before the Christmas furore kicks in.
The Baggies also have no injury worries and so Di Matteo will have a full squad to choose from and let’s face it with two footballing sides playing against each other it should be interesting.
Lets create the same atmosphere as the other night and really get behind the team this Saturday as we look to get ourselves away from that dreaded 18th place.
Anthony Taylor from Manchester will be the referee in his fifth Premier League game of the season. He has so far dished out 14 yellow cards and 1 red card.
