I have made this thread about rugby. I do enjoy reading the latics forum, and watch the game supporting them. However some of the utter b*ll*cks you chat is beyond me.

I cant actually believe you hate "the worriers" or whatever you call them. I read all the warriors forums aswell as the latics, and as much as you like to think you dont get half as much of a mention as you think you do.

There are only a couple of reasons i can think of you as to the reason you dont like them:

A because you dont understand the sport of rugby league

or

B because you dont like the fact that other than a carling cup final. latics have done absolutely f*ck all and have a highest finished spot of 10th in the premier league, and in the last few season they have appeared to finish just above the relegation zone. Whereas have always been right up there in the sport of rugby league.

I dont really give a sh*t if theres more money in football or theres more competition, because the matter of the fact is, is that wigan warriors are competiting at the highest level they possibly can and latics appear to be right down there amongst the worst in the premier league.

I dont care if we share a stadium, the fact is we have a 50 year lease on the stadium you cant change it, either you build us a stadium with the same capacity and facilities or build you one. You cant just cancel our lease, because we could just take you to court, and win a hell of a lot of cash, probably enough to make you end up like portsmouth.

Fine we havent won a major trophy in 7 years, a bit of a dry spell but we have been competiting well this season.

I also cant understand why you are so desperate to beat us with crowds. Its like your trying to pull each clubs pants down to see which has the biggest pair of balls.

So what if Wigan RL got 22,700 at the wire game and hold the record for record attendance at the stadium.

Likewise who cares if we only get 12,000. We have that base of support were we get 11,000 wiganers week in week out. Yet again competiting at the top of RL for attendance, unlike latics whose attendace is poor and would still be considered poor in the championship.

All im gonna say now, is just grow the f*** up.

Not actually true. Stadium record is 25,133 Latics v Man United, Premier League, 11 May 2008

highest finished spot of 10th in the premier league

There are thousands of sports clubs in the world who would love that on their CV.

So presumably are Coventry Blaze ice-hockey team, Cheadle lacrosse team and Cowdray polo club. Still doesn't quite compare with the Premier League, does it?

Can't believe I'm replying to this.

Yes but you have to understand that football is a lot more popular so it is a lot harder to do well. I mean we're doing better than teams who are a lot bigger than us. Your in the top league of rugby? BIG WOW! Who are you doing better than? Keighley? Batley? Featherstone? We're in the top league of football and doing better than teams like Leeds, Leicester, Hull and Sheffield United.

There are probably around the same number of Wiganers watch Latics and Warriors. Get over it.

Oh, and the bloke who started the thread? Probably a wind-up mon who spent a week working on that post, will get about 10 replies and will then probably disappear.

The truth is that egg chasing is a sport about to curl up and die, supported by lower intellect fans with a focus on gaining weight. If it were to stop tomorrow the world would be a better place.

Rugby is a small time sport played by thick obese people that cant play football, It is watched by thick obese people. The two biggest fixtures are played this weekend and at a gues there will be 15000 in attendance for both game... wow.
competion in super league is obviousley non existant, for christ sake the RFL wont let any other teams get promoted into it, they sold out and let some Welch and French rubbish, teams with no fan base what so ever in to try to promote sport because it is obviousley second ...erm 3rd rate.
Latics finished 10th in our first season, now given that that is mid table, if it were pooper league rules this would have got us into the play-offs and with luck we could of been classed as champs, football fans would not accept this because it's a sh.te system, but rugby fans know that they have to do this gimmick to try to drag the nonsense out, get attendances up and try to make the sport atleast look half decent. Why dont they just have the 8 biggest clubs and have a super dooper wooper league.
And, Its nice to know the true level of support they give, I mean to not care that you dont have your own ground is pathetic.
You say football fans dont understand rugby league, well i am not sure that the players refs and fans do, my girlfriends mum is a worrier and she says knock on has nothing to do with the ball hitting the floor. The commentators half the time are at a loss to try to explain what the f.u.c.k is going on.
Can't be arsed going on any more because unfortunately no matter how hard you try to educate the poor fatties they just wont accept it. Now just hurry up and get your rent to big Dave.

Rugby League, a Simple game for simple minds even the klumps have to copy off our great round ball game, egg men singing footy songs, hanging flags in a football stadium, wishing our Dave was dead?
Thubgy league pundits living a world of their own,how many times are they gona praise a game no fookers are @rsed about they never talk about the junkie that got banned for 2years or train driver that got his jaw broke, lets not forget the sh@thouse what runs the Ben Johnson.Instead of hanging flags they should hang them selves the town will be a better place, more food to go round.come on Big Dave do the right thing it will make ya famous.

I stand corrected, this is true. Maybe we could donate the sport to the Hati appeal or something, let them enjoy the world sport that is egg chasing !
