Well the game against Manchester United is fast approaching and we are going to try to make things easy for Wigan Athletic fans.
The Red Devils take on Hull City tonight to get to the Final of the EFL Cup, Southampton humiliated Liverpool to get there last night, so our hosts on Sunday will think it is in the bag if they get a result tonight.
Of course there are a few ways to get to Manchester United’s Ground, but remember that there are probably going to be as many Wiganer Man Utd fans travelling as Wigan Athletic fans, such is the glory hunting past of the town.
Anyway, back to the matter at hand, for those sensible ones travelling by coach instead of driving, I can’t tell you very much but to say take a look at the MUFC Away Fans Guide for information on things to do.
For those driving, well good luck finding a parking space and give yourself loads of time (don’t promise the missus you’ll be home at 5.30p.m. either). Again, look at the MUFC Guide for parking etc….
For those travelling by train and tram, the advice would be to go at least an hour earlier than the time you first thought of. The journey could take 30-45 minutes more than you think.
I go back to my earlier comments on the Wiganer Man Utd ‘Supporters’, who will also be making the same trip and so please bear this in mind. Again their Guide is very comprehensive.
