Wigan Athletic come through the January transfer window a much stronger team as 5 players come in and just 3 out of sorts’ players go out on loan.

I can’t remember the last time we didn’t sell somebody in a January transfer window. Not only that but we ended up with two more defenders, another goalkeeper and two more strikers.

Coming were:

Steve Gohouri – Defender, free transfer from Borussia Monchengladbach
Gary Caldwell – Defender, undisclosed fee from Celtic
Marcelo Moreno – 22 year old striker, on loan from Shakhtar Donetsk
Victor Moses – 19 year old striker from Crystal Palace

Leaving were:

Cho Won-Hee – on loan to Suwon Samsung Blueswings
Olivier Kapo – on loan to Boulogne
Daniel de Ridder – on loan to Hapoel Tel-Aviv
