Today sees the launch of a brand new site by Wigan Athletic Club sponsors 188BET, and they are asking for Latics fans to put forward their moment from time.

188SPORT today launched its new ‘Moments In Time’ initiative, encouraging Wigan Athletic fans to vote on their all-time favourite game-changing moments.

Click here to go to the 188bet site The online campaign draws on how a specific moment, whether a 30-yard thunderbolt, an injury-time equaliser, a last-gasp tackle or a goal-keeping blunder, can change the course, and ultimately the outcome of a football match.

With support from six Premier League partner clubs (Aston Villa, Bolton Wanderers, Chelsea FC, Everton FC, Liverpool FC and Wigan Athletic), the initiative has collated some of the greatest game-changing moments from the respective clubs’ histories.

Will it be Nathan Ellington’s goal five minutes from time in the 2005 playoffs, which confirmed promotion to the Premier League or Petr Cech’s sending off in the 3-1 home win over Chelsea in September 2009?

The online forum features exclusive content from Wigan Athletic club legends and ambassadors, including Matt Jackson detailing his favourite ‘Moments In Time’ playing for the club. But the site is designed for football fans of all ages to join in the debate, simply by uploading their own moments or commenting on others.

Terry Venables, former England manager and 188SPORT Ambassador, said: “So often in a game of football there will be an instant that either impacts or changes the outcome of the match. ‘Moments In Time’ is a great way for fans to discuss these moments and we’re looking forward to seeing the suggestions that supporters come up with.”

The campaign is completely free to enter and a range of match tickets to see the partner clubs in action are being given away as part of the initiative. Those who contribute to the site by uploading their favourite moments could see their moment featured in the match day programme.

To get involved in ‘Moments In Time’ and be in with a chance of winning match tickets, simply log on to www.188sport.com/moments/ and join the debate.
