5 September 2018 at 9:46 pm #171578One brickie built the great wall of China quicker than this takeover is taking.

6 September 2018 at 2:12 am #171595Has this takeover not happened yet? Jeez, Sunderland’s was done and dusted in a couple of weeks, and the new owners have breathed new life into the club, and even replaced several thousand pink seats with new red ones!

6 September 2018 at 11:43 am #171600Remind me how Latics started their Div 3 campaign after their relegation in 2015, and subsequent fire sale of most of the squad, meaning that a whole load of new players were brought in within a couple of weeks of the season starting.
I’d say 4 wins and 2 draws, 13 scored and 5 conceded in the first 6 games is a reasonable start.
6 September 2018 at 2:38 pm #171602Not that shit really! They forced a draw at home against Stoke Academy.
I think we just beat Stokes first team away.6 September 2018 at 5:29 pm #171603Has this takeover not happened yet? Jeez, Sunderland’s was done and dusted in a couple of weeks, and the new owners have breathed new life into the club, and even replaced several thousand pink seats with new red ones!To be fair Mutt your new owner had to choose between Eastleigh and Sunderland. It must of been a difficult decision not. Plus he didn’t have to go through the fit and proper rigmarole. I hope he has the backing to revive the black cats although I very much doubt he will have you back in the Prem in the near future. We don’t have the same expectations and demands that you guys expect so hopefully our new owners can just get us going in the right direction and guarantee our long term future.
7 September 2018 at 3:47 am #171613You’re right that he didn’t have to go through the fit and proper rigmarole.
But the Egyptian bloke who bought Aston Villa in July must have done?
