The sad thing is even the match going supporters are miserable kangaroo. I had an old couple sat behind me & they bitched about Gomez, Scotland, Bramble, Koumas & Martinez. Sadly that was in the first 15mins. There was also a few more in earshot.
The funny thing was the silly old get kept hurling abuse at Bramble but it was actually Sinclair he was looking at. Slight elephant difference gramps.

Always been the same. I had the pleasure of witnessing Ged Brannan on his Latics debut, whilst sat with some of his relatives. (His cousin is my best mate) and literally after 3 minutes, he was being criticized and moaned at. I felt embarrassed.
I also recall people shouting “Campbell’s meatballs!” at Bobby Campbell, a striker who was great for us! And even today, I read people mocking Marcelo Moreno’s teeth……honest to god, Wiganers are a class apart.
We’d sign Ronaldinho and some old cun* would shout “Fancy dan” at him.
Never be happy, always look on the miserable side. That’s the mentality, I think. Sorry, but it is with a lot of people.
