Not sure if anyone has already asked this but can anyone name any mon who has worn the Wigan Athletic shirt as a player and has gone to the World Cup Finals as part of a squad (regardless of playing or not)

What about Reto Ziegler? Switzerland, on loan from Spurs. Did Scharns play with Austria?

Ziegler is indeed in the Switzerland squad and batch is correct Won He Cho wasn’t even selected for the South Korea squad.
I make it 21 players BTW and that number doesn’t include Alcaraz who isn’t our player yet.

I’d agree on that point – I was just presuming that it was still regarding players present at the world cup during their time with us. But then seeing that CL has then gone on to mention 21 players then the topic’s changed
