i dont think it would be £6 million to be honest i’d best leave now as Vat will want two pages of mental breakdown stuff
22 July 2010 at 9:56 pm #40851There talking rubbish, no way would whelan turn durn offers over 8mil from brum and then accept an offer of 6mil from sunderland.
Would have to be around 10mil at least I would think before it would even be considered.

If he goes, it will be definitely in excess of £8m so £6m is a load of rubbish.
23 July 2010 at 12:56 am #40864the offer is just short of ten million which as been accepted
saying no fooking more

23 July 2010 at 1:41 am #40869I understand were a small club and we struggle to hold onto our best players, but this is happening every single season.
At the start of every Premiership season we’ve been involved in we have had half a new team. I can understand us letting one of Hugo/N’Zogbia going but we can’t let both of them leave in one go.

Tis true alas if we dont we have a big debt and no club just hang in there kidder been through worst sh ite than this
23 July 2010 at 1:50 am #40873You just have to hope we spend about 6 million to replace him. Either that or Martinez has an unknown talent up his sleeve.
A fairly large number of away fans did comment last season that we only looked dangerous going forward when we went through N’Zogbia. He was the only real creative spark we had.

But who says they are actually going, though? Bickymon? Donnelly? Not very reliable sources, to be honest.
If they do go and aren’t replaced, I’ll be the first to put my hand up and whinge but let’s just wait and see what happens. Let’s give the club a chance to f*** it up before we crucify them.
Finally, I’ll bet a pound to a pinch of shyt that any player that goes has made it quite clear to the club that they want to leave. Not one will be sold against their wishes just to make a profit. You Whelan haters can laugh all you want at that, but in 99.9% of cases, it’s true
23 July 2010 at 2:05 am #40879griff im saying no more on this at the mo
but my next one will say
i told you so23 July 2010 at 2:14 am #40883the offer is just short of ten million which as been accepted

and this is a reliable sourceSo if this is true – £10m seems a good price to me – and N’Zogbia wants to go, for whatever reason, how would you go about persuading him to stay at little ol’ Wigan?
