Players I think we could do with at the dw before the window shuts.
1. Tuncay Sanli, understand no one wants him. He’s worth a go at £4 maybe £5 million. If we can’t get him then Benjani from City, cheap and decent.
2. Sylvian Distin, unless he’s off to Villa, I’d love us to get him. Cheap and a step up from anyone else we’ve got.
3. David Bentley, othhers may disagree, but I think he’d be quality. Good passer, comfortable on the ball, got a good cross on him. Everything he needs to fit into Roberto’s system imo.
4. Luke Young, or a decent right back like him. As Mario isn’t great and hasn’t much back up.
5. Alexander Orlov as club mascot. Simples!
Come on Whelan, get your money out. We know your not short of it so get some players in.
